Gallery Tours operates in the archipelago of Zanzibar, a culturally rich cosmopolitan where Arabs, Indians and Africans have lived together for hundreds of years. Listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 2000, the heart of Zanzibar, Stone Town, presents the core of this cultural fusion. Gallery Tours is determined to preserve the environmental and cultural welfare inhabitants by continually striving to achieve economic and social development in ways that do not negatively impact the environment of Zanzibar. Through meaningful service we aim to provide insights into our increasingly diverse society, and heighten appreciation for the surrounding environments.

	Implementation of education and training initiatives for Gallery Tour staff to learn further on cultural and environmental responsibility
	Facilitating cultural exchange between clients and communities
	Supporting, using and encouraging businesses that actively support sustainability
	Raising awareness on the importance of sustainability among clients
	Encouraging clients to eat local foods therefore reducing the amount of food imported
	Encouraging clients to conserve resources like electricity and water

Our goal is for positive impacts from our tours and business practices to tip the scales towards the positive.
