Javed Jafferji has a passion for the Island’s conservation, its nature and history led him to restore his ancestral home into this luxury hotel. We are 7 km from the International Airport and five minutes drive from the bustling ferry terminal.
The collection of décor around the entire hotel that is seen by our guests consists of genuine antiques collected and brought from various parts of the world; Morocco, Afghanistan, India, Mozambique, Pakistan, Arabia and Zanzibar,
to name just a few.
The décor in the suites and around the public areas of the hotel are pieces of the richly decorative furniture that were enjoyed by Sultans and Merchants from the old days of ruling in Zanzibar.
