Unguja Lodge is a small lodge set within an intimate atmosphere in Kizimkazi on the Southern tip of Zanzibar.
Adventurous people; people who are active but want the luxury of a well organized trip, very high quality accommodation and an excellent meal at the end of the day feel at home in our lodge.
The property has ten private, very spacious Sea View villas, two Sea view family houses, restaurant, bar, swimming pool and PADI dive centre: Unguja Divers. The flora and fauna at the site are beautiful: there are old mango trees and many baobab trees. A small nature trail takes you to a small, permanent beach where guests can watch the local women making rope from coconut husk. We have an excellent relationship with the village Kizimkazi Mkunguni as most of our staff is from there and we take care of our natural environment by maintaining all the vegetation surrounding the lodge.
Early morning tea and coffee is served in the villas. Warm dishes like eggs, pancakes, sausages, bacon can be freshly ordered along with bread rolls, croissants, pastry, milk, yoghurt, muesli, cereals, cheese and a variety of fresh Fruit. Lunch is a ‘la Carte and dinner is a set meal.
